MOBILE vs EMBEDDED FACE RECOGNITION
FaceGO standalone hardware is a state of the art technology, employing IR and Optical range cameras with a high performing specialized DSP chip. Recognition accuracy and speed are exemplary, and recognition can take place even in almost complete darkness.
Single-camera smartphones are never going to be as accurate as the Dual Sensor setup in our embedded face recognition systems and if mobility isn’t an issue, FaceGO hardware devices are the product to choose.
However, there are situations where mobility is essential. Mobile FaceGO provides for such situations. With smartphones becoming ubiquitous, and camera technology improving with each product generation, selfie face recognition is improving.
